'What's Cooking in Town:' An innovative take to Public Access TV

In my role as Communications Coordinator for the Town of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, I reach residents in a way that works with their busy lives, like creating “What’s Cooking in Town,” a public access TV program highlighting town officials and their signature dishes. This innovative format allows viewers to passively learn about the Town while watching two people cook and chat. The show’s simple set-up allows staff who often go unrecognized to become real and relatable. Despite being hyperlocal, our episodes have been syndicated over 100 times since launching in August.


"What's Cooking" got the attention of Dartmouth's local news paper (and my previous employer) Dartmouth Week. Check out the article here and episodes below.
